 My name is Doug Tallman owner and founder
of Outdoor Sports Store.
I am very excited to bring you this outdoor website because really it is a reflection of my life..
I am very passionate about the outdoors and I have done most of the things that you will find on this site at one time or another throughout my life.. In-fact you will find a picture of me doing a little rock hunting when I was in Arkansas. Just one of the many places I have been to do a little rock collecting.

One of my jobs was manufacturing snow skis for 7 years on a small island in the Puget sound called Vashon Island where we produced K2 skis and Pre skis, and K2 at that time also owned Shakespeare fishing rods and reels which I was also excited about as well.

I have also owned a rock and gem store where I sold fossils geodes crystals and many other  minerals and collectibles, and at the same time running a moped rental business as well in a little resort town called Sunriver Oregon a beautiful little place in the mountains in Central Oregon.

I have worked very hard on this site to bring you nearly 5,000 products and have enjoyed it very much because like I said it is my passion, I hope you enjoy the little puns I put on the different pages because I enjoy making people laugh and I hope you at least find some of them a little funny. LOL
